He has been published in several peer reviewed academic journals such as the IEEE Journal of Biomedical Engineering, and has co-chaired international scientific conferences. He has been featured in over 200 mass media publications and news magazines including the Globe and Mail, Report on Business magazine, New York Times, Financial Post, Profit magazine and CBC’s Venture.




Bob Rai, Physiotherapy Team Leader
Bob received his degree in Physical Medicine from the University of Manitoba in 1971. During his 40 years of experience as a Physiotherapist, he has taught Physical Medicine in Canada and served as a Director of the Department of Physical Medicine at Etobicoke General Hospital in Toronto. He has over 4 years experience in treatment of the elderly in Nursing Home settings and over three decades of experience in treating motor vehicle accident cases as well as a decade of experience in working with severely developmentally handicapped individuals.

Suzanne Oakley, Clinical Coordinator
Suzanne graduated in 1972 from the University of Toronto in Physical and Occupational Therapy. She was the Department Head for Occupational Therapy at Children’s Rehabilitation Centre, St. John’s Newfoundland. She also served as the Coordinator for the Tri-Ministry Program, Ark Eden Nursing Home in Stroud, Ontario and was the Sole Charge Physiotherapist at Huronia Regional Centre in Orillia, Ontario. She has been an
Occupational and Physical Therapist with Simcoe Habilitation Services since 1983.

Katrina Rowe, Occupational Therapy Team Leader
Katrina (Trina) received an Honors Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Toronto and went on to complete a Masters of Occupational Therapy at Queens University.  Prior to embarking on her career in Occupational Therapy, Trina worked in group homes, respite and summer camp programs for children and teens with Autism Spectrum Disorders.  As an Occupational Therapist, Trina has fostered skill development and provided consultation in a variety of practice areas including pediatrics, sensory processing, seating and mobility (including wheelchairs), environmental and home adaptation (including home safety), static splinting,  activities of daily living and fine motor function. 

Trina has completed additional training in many practice areas including the Geneva Centre for Autism Autism/P.D.D. Occupational Therapist Certification, the Handwriting without Tears program, as well as attending a variety of workshops and in-services on wheelchair seating and mobility.  Trina is a seating and mobility device authorizer through the Ministry of Health Assistive Devices Program.
